Cherine Marie's Bio

Colorado pine mingles in my blood with Texas sage. I've followed elk tracks & I've cut willow branches for fishing poles. I've roped steers, brought calves into this world, hauled hay, mended fences, added oil to windmill gears and watched sunsets drift with the wind. Dirt and sweat never bother me but I appreciate the perfume of roses and love the smell of horse hair as it glistens with sunbeams!
The love of nature and animals with expression will be found in most of my pieces.

My work has found homes in Japan, France, Tortolla BVI, Canada, The Federation of Russia & several states of the USA. My work, art pieces, photography & note cards are exhibited in Canyon, TX at the cute shop, RestorationChic, on the square down town. Also several times a year I show at different venues.

Recent workshops have included instruction with Mort Solberg, James Gurney, and Ned Muller, also, watercolorist Alexia Levine and other distinguished artists. Past studies with Ben Konis, Mike Mahon, Ramon Kelley, and with Rick Howell, Guido Frick of Germany and Jean Haines of the UK have also added to my artistic path as I strive to illuminate the feelings I wish conveyed upon my canvas.

Natural talent may be held captive until the knowledge of medium is turned loose to run. I am thankful for each person's help & inspiration! My friends and family that love my art and encourage my growth continue to be a blessing, I thank you all.

Color your dreams before they fade.
